WK 3How a commission worksAthletes & parents

What you're actually buying.

A commission means I'm shooting your athlete on purpose — tracking them through the race by bib and singlet, not hoping they run through a frame.

The cap
Three slots per meet — five at Nike Portland. That's the whole product. Any more and I'm just shooting the race and sorting later. Three is the number I can actually track through a 5K.
48 hours
Full-resolution gallery, no watermark, no reveal sale. Not a preview. Not a teaser. The files.
Your name
Written into the file, not just the folder. Name, school, event, venue, date — in the IPTC and EXIF data. That's what a coach's search actually reads.
Usage
Cleared for recruiting, NIL and your own feed. Hudl, MaxPreps, Instagram, recruiting packets — go. If a brand wants your image for an ad, they license it from me, not from you.
Two ways in
The Wire — $150. Your three best frames from the heat, airdropped on-site before you leave the venue. Track and cross country only.

The Sideline — $350. Full coverage, warm-ups to finish. Every high-res file, NIL licensing included, filed in 48 hours.

Season Pass — $4,500. Application only, three athletes a season. One major race a month plus a monthly session.
Paid in full
Payment books the slot. That's the whole transaction. No deposit, no balance due, no invoice chasing you in November. Cards, Afterpay and Klarna.
Everyone else
Editorial coverage is free to view at every meet. You don't have to buy anything to find your athlete. Commissions just guarantee they're the one I'm following.
WK 5Straight answersTerms, plainly

Straight answers.

The questions people actually ask, answered without a sales voice.

What if it rains?

It's the PNW — light rain makes better pictures and I shoot through it. If it's heavy enough to hurt gear, we reschedule at no cost. I make that call four hours out, not at the start line.

What does it cost?

The Wire is $150 — three curated frames airdropped to you on-site before you leave the venue. The Sideline is $350 — full coverage warm-ups to finish, every hi-res file, NIL licensing included. Season Pass is $4,500, application only.

How does payment work?

Payment in full books the slot. No deposits, no balance chasing, no invoice after the fact. Cards, Afterpay and Klarna all work. Reschedule once with 48 hours notice at no charge.

Do I get the RAW files?

No. The grade is half the photograph — handing over RAWs is handing over an unfinished job. You get finished, full-resolution, high-fidelity files.

Can my kid's school use the photos?

Yes, with credit. Schools, boosters and coaches can use editorial frames for programs, socials and banners. Commercial advertising is a separate licence.

Are you safe to be around my kid?

SafeSport trained and WIAA credentialed. I carry $1M general liability and a COI is available before any event. I shoot from where the credential lets me and nowhere else.

Can't afford it?

Say so. Every commercial commission I take subsidises free and pay-what-you-can sessions, with priority for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ athletes in Thurston County. Ask — it's not a favour, it's budgeted.

What if my athlete isn't a star?

Good. The best frames I've made are of people finishing 40th and leaving everything on the course. I'm not photographing places, I'm photographing effort.
