TERMS OF SERVICE Last Updated: February 5, 2026
1. THE MISSION (AGREEMENT) By booking a session or purchasing a package from Russell Moore Photography ("RMP"), you enter into a binding service agreement and agree to the terms below.
2. FINANCIAL PROTOCOLS
Retainer: A non-refundable retainer (typically 50%) is required to secure your calendar date.
Final Balance: The remaining balance is due 24 hours prior to the scheduled deployment/session.
Payment Methods: We accept secure payments via Stripe, Afterpay, and Klarna.
3. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
Client Cancellation: If you cancel less than 72 hours before the shoot, the retainer is forfeited. If you reschedule with more than 72 hours' notice, the retainer transfers to the new date.
Weather Protocol: We operate in the Pacific Northwest. Rain is a factor. Weather calls are made at the sole discretion of RMP. If we scrub the launch due to weather, we reschedule at no extra cost.
Force Majeure: If RMP cannot perform due to emergency, injury, or "Acts of God," a full refund including the retainer will be issued.
4. CREATIVE LICENSE & COPYRIGHT
Ownership: RMP retains the legal copyright to all images created.
Your Rights: You receive a Personal Usage License. You may print, share, and post your photos unlimitedly. You may not sell the images or use them for third-party commercial advertising without a separate commercial contract.
Editing: You acknowledge RMP's editing style (The "Bleach" Aesthetic / High Contrast) and trust my creative judgment. We do not release RAW (unedited) files.
5. MODEL RELEASE Unless a privacy agreement is signed prior to the shoot, RMP reserves the right to use images for our professional portfolio, website, and social media (@russellmoore_photography).
6. SAFE ENVIRONMENT RMP guarantees a safe, identity-affirming environment. Conversely, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment. RMP reserves the right to terminate a session immediately without refund if our staff feels threatened or unsafe.
