// THE EDIT SUITE
I DOCUMENT ATHLETES.
NOT DOLLS.
MY PHILOSOPHY ON PHOTOSHOP, REALITY, AND THE "COMMERCIAL GRADE" LOOK.
01 // THE SKIN
TEXTURE IS MANDATORY.
In high-end sports advertising (Nike, Under Armour), athletes sweat. They have pores. They have grit.
- YES Temporary Blemishes: Acne, fresh scratches, and razor burn get deleted. If it won't be there in two weeks, I remove it.
- NO Permanent Features: Scars, birthmarks, and moles stay. That is your history. (Unless explicitly asked to remove).
- NO Plastic Smoothing: I do not blur skin into oblivion. You will look human, not AI-generated.
02 // THE PHYSIQUE
YOU BUILT THE ENGINE.
You spent hours in the weight room and on the track building your body. I will not disrespect that work by "liquifying" it.
- YES Lighting Enhancement: I use "Dodge & Burn" techniques to highlight muscle definition and cut. I use light to make you look strong.
- NO Digital Weight Loss: I do not thin arms, waists, or legs. I photograph the athlete as they are.
- NO Feature Alteration: I do not change eye color, nose shape, or jawlines.
03 // THE GRADE
SLATE & CHROME.
Your photos will not look "Natural." They are designed to look "Cinematic."
- YES Color Grading: I push colors into the "Volt" palette. Deep blues, desaturated greens, and punchy highlights.
- YES Distraction Removal: Trash cans, exit signs, and random bystanders in the background get deleted.
- YES Atmosphere: I enhance fog, rain, and stadium lights to increase the drama.
