Celebrating the Heartbeat of West Coast Running: A Tribute to the West Coast XC Community

In the world of Pacific Northwest running, collaboration and community are everything. I was watching a YouTube video recently and my name came up on a recent Westcoast XC show, and I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude.

Westcoast XC, led by Ken Martinez, is an invaluable resource for the running community in Washington, Oregon, and California, providing content that helps "build the community". Their passion for the sport is clear, from their interviews with running experts to their detailed coverage of events.

I'm especially thankful to Todd Tokubo, who was featured on the show and shared his appreciation for my work. It’s an honor to have my photography recognized by someone so deeply involved in the sport. I also want to extend my thanks to Dianne Martinez, a key contributor to the Westcoast XC team. Her dedication, along with Ken and the rest of the team, makes Westcoast XC a vital voice in the PNW running ecosystem.

As a photographer specializing in capturing the emotion and action of cross-country and track events , I truly believe that the visual storytelling I provide and the expert commentary that Westcoast XC delivers are two sides of the same coin. We both share a passion for celebrating the hard work and dedication of runners across the West Coast.

I encourage everyone to check out their YouTube channel to experience their fantastic coverage. Thank you again, Westcoast XC, for your support and for all you do for the community.
