Introducing Olympia Community Headshots: A New Initiative to Support Our Community
I’ve always believed that a photograph is more than just an image; it’s a statement of presence, confidence, and potential. A professional headshot can be a powerful tool—it can open doors, build a personal brand, and help you present your best self to the world. It’s a small thing that can make a big difference.
That’s why I am excited to officially start working on a special project: Olympia Community Headshots.
What is the Mission?
The mission of Olympia Community Headshots is simple: to give back to the vibrant community that I call home. I believe in the power of strong representation and want to help empower every individual to put their best face forward, regardless of their circumstances.
This initiative will offer one complimentary, professional headshot session each month to a member of the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and/or LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, Asexual/Aromatic, Plus) communities here in Olympia, WA. The goal is to provide a valuable resource that can help uplift and support these incredible communities.

Each month, after a session, I will post a feature right here. You’ll get to meet the incredible people I work with, hear a bit about their journey and their goals, and of course, see the final images from our shoot. This will be a space to celebrate the diverse and talented individuals who make Olympia so special.

Free Headshot Sessions: Supporting Our Community
I believe in the power of strong representation and the importance of empowering every individual. To give back to our local community, I am offering a complimentary professional headshot session to a member of the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and/or LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, Asexual/Aromatic, Plus) communities in Olympia, WA. A professional headshot can open doors, build confidence, and help you present your best self for career opportunities, personal branding, or community engagement. I am honored to offer this service to help uplift and support these vibrant communities.
What's Included in Your Free Session:
Personalized Consultation: A brief discussion to understand your needs and desired look for your headshot.
Professional Photo Shoot: A relaxed and guided 60-minute (approx.) session designed to capture your authentic self.
On-Location in Olympia, WA: Sessions will take place at a mutually agreed-upon outdoor location within the Olympia, WA area.
Professional Image Curation & Editing: I will carefully select and professionally retouch your best images.
High-Resolution Digital Images: You will receive a selection of your chosen high-resolution digital images, perfect for LinkedIn, professional profiles, websites, and more.
Eligibility & How to Claim Your Session:
Community Focus: This offer is exclusively for individuals who identify as members of the BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+ communities.
Local to Olympia: Applicants must reside in Olympia, WA.
Limited Availability: Availability is highly limited, with one session offered per month on a first-come, first-served basis.

After your "purchase," I will follow up via email to gather a brief mention of your connection to the BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+ community and to coordinate your availability for the session.
Important: Prior to Your Session
To ensure a smooth and successful session, the following are required:
Model Release Form: A standard model release form must be signed prior to the shoot. This grants me permission to use the images for my portfolio and promotional purposes, helping me continue to offer valuable services.
Testimonial: I kindly request a short testimonial about your experience, which I may feature on my website.
Google Review: Your feedback is invaluable! I would greatly appreciate it if you could leave a Google review after receiving your photos.
