Team Watch picks are soft for now. A deeper team-by-team look at every classification follows the district meets.

4A Girls

Title race: Issaquah and Mt. Si. Issaquah is the team to beat, with five scorers inside 34 seconds and the deepest 6th and 7th runners in the class. Mt. Si has the individual favorite in Sophia Rodriguez, the defending 3A champion now running 4A, and its 4th and 5th scorers decide whether she turns that front end into a team title. Dark horses: Olympia and Glacier Peak hold the 3 and 4 slots. Strategy matters here, because a tight Olympia pack or a Zener-and-Holt front can break the top two apart, and either team can still win it. Tahoma is not a championship contender. Tahoma was 8th at Hole in the Wall, well behind Issaquah, Mt. Si and Glacier Peak, and their varsity skipped the John Payne Invitational. We reassess after leagues.

Board Update — Oct 31 · 2026 Season Marks Only

This update folds in the Oct 31 district championship slate — the District 1/2 XC Championships, District 6 Championship, 1A District 1 Championships and District 5/6 1B/2B Regional Championship — along with the Westside Classic (Oct 31) and the 2A/3A District 2 Sea-King meet (Oct 29), plus result corrections to the Oct 24 slate. It sits on top of the Oct 22–24 league and conference championship slate — the WESCO Championships, PSL/SPSL League Championships, CWB League Championships, SCAC League Championship, NEA 1A District Championship, NPSL Sub-District XC Meet and the KingCo Conference Championship (Oct 24), plus the Emerald Sound Conference Championships, 2026 Metro 2A/3A/4A, Olympic League, Pacific League, Caribou Trail League and CWAC meets (Oct 22). They sit on top of the Oct 20–21 league and district championship weekend (4A GSHL District Meet, Northwest Conference XC Championships, GSL #4, CBBN League Meet #2, 2A GSHL, Trico 1A and the NE1B/NE2B, EWAC, SeaTac and Northwest 1B/2B championship meets), the Oct 13–17 slate (KingCo Crest and Crown, Stumptown Showdown, Battle Ground @ Camas), the Oct 10 NIKE Hole in the Wall XC Invitational, the 5th Annual Fall Classic and the 9th Annual Battle for the 509, the Oct 7–9 league and invite slate, the HOKA 30th John Payne XC Invite and the NIKE 18th Annual Twilight XC Invitational (Oct 3), and the late-September Nike Bob Firman Invitational and Nike Portland XC (Sept 26), along with the Sept 19 Bellevue, Fort Steilacoom and Mook invites. Every board is re-sorted on the fastest verified 2026 mark per athlete. ▲/▼ show rank movement against the previous update; NEW marks an athlete who was not on that board last time. Every board carries new marks this update. Kate Westfall (Camas) remains off the 4A girls board — she is out for the season. Team Watch picks are soft for now; a deeper team-by-team look follows the district meets.

Mook flag (*): marks run at The Mook XC Invite at Alderbrook are flagged. The fast, downhill-oriented course has produced 5K marks roughly 9% (about 1:25) faster than the same athletes run elsewhere — context for the board, not a disqualification.

North Central (Spokane) is a 2A school this season, so Elliot Yegge and Miles Watson now sit on the 2A boys board — Yegge takes the top spot at 14:58.0. Both come off the 3A boys board, which now lists 48 athletes until two more verified marks are added. Sebastian Gray (Glacier Peak) also appeared on the 3A feed with his 15:28.5 from the WESCO Championships; Glacier Peak is a 4A school, so he is filed on the 4A boys board only. Hermiston (OR-located, WIAA member due to travel logistics) is scored as a WA school on these boards, consistent with WIAA classification.
